On stage, the musician uses various second-hand articles to create sounds. A lamp, a pail, a fragment of polyester all become percussion instruments. The film is projected onto the back of the stage. The images evoke nature, suggesting "refuge" yet at the same time disturbing, an escape across the landscape, a danger. Ice, clouds, torrents, sun, moon, sea, waves ... the camera scrutinizes each detail down to the nearest millimeter, observes the repetitive movements, the appearance of shapes. By her presence and through her playing, the musician breathes life into a character endowed with the most improbable of gifts. Music and images combine in a unique manner at each performance.
